I have always loved mosaics whether they are paper, paint, glass, or ceramic tile. As a child, I would cut out mosaic paper pieces and paste them on to my homework. That was short lived!

Later, as a teen, I drew and painted mosaic pictures on a canvas. In 2007, I put together a bass fish ceramic tile inlay for my husband's office. This was my first endeavor “in stone”.

I have a passion for bringing the design, the colors, and texture together for the finished mosaic inlay. The history of mosaics also intrigues me.
